Share a Clip

Project Goal:

To enable customers to easily share clips from their favorite Amazon Originals through social media and  messaging apps, directly from in-the-moment playback.

Project Deliverables:

Wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, user flows and walk-throughs, design specs, assets, prototypes, UX QA

Summary:

Share a Clip is a new Prime Video feature for iOS mobile that makes it easy to quickly share 30 second clips from Amazon Originals on social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) directly from playback. With only a few steps, customers can edit and share what they are currently watching with their friends and family, then easily resume right where they left off. Anyone who sees the clips on social media can watch it instantly – no subscription required. Each clip comes with a quick link to the title on Prime Video so they can dive right into the show if they are already a Prime member, or sign up for a Prime free trial if they are not.

As UX Lead my responsibilities included designing the end-to-end CX design, while working with my product partners to establish product and design requirements,

Share a Clip is currently available for iOS Prime Video subscribers on 6 Amazon Original titles: Wheel of Time, The Boys, Fairfax, Harlem, The Wilds, and Invincible.
